In 1959, an important landmark year in the young company’s history, Hagner started to put in place an extensive marketing network designed to serve the retail trade and the food wholesaling trade on a countrywide basis.
1962 marked Hagner’s transition from an owner-controlled business to a limited commercial partnership. As a result of expansion the company now needed a change of location.
Work was started on the construction of new, modern and spacious production facilities and administrative offices in Freudenstadt. The company moved into these new premises on their completion in 1967. Through various strategic company acquisitions at the end of the 60s and beginning of the 70s the company was able to enlarge its product range and effectively consolidate its market position.
From small beginnings the company had grown by the end of the 80s to become a dynamic medium-sized business with worldwide interests which today markets over 200 individual items in the area of high-quality body care products and household cleaners.
In 2007, the company adopted another strategic focus: the development of convincing and contemporary brand concepts. The planning of high-quality products with strong consumer acceptance and high added value became one of the company’s cornerstones.
In 2011, an extensive expansion and refurbishment of the administration building and the modernisation of the production plant will in future guarantee maximum manufacturing flexibility, with product quantities ranging from small and medium units through to mass production. The goal is to lastingly ensure the success and satisfaction of the customer, with market-compliant, attractive product offerings, first class service, and a high implementation speed.
